  • Selling your equipment?
    Let us know what you have! Martin's Equipment, Inc. purchases quality used equipment. We can usually arrange a visit to your location, appraise the value of your equipment and make you an offer in a timely manner. No matter if you have one item to sell or an entire restaurant, we are fully equipped to remove and transport commercial restaurant equipment of all sizes. Most liquidations can be completed quickly, and we can also be available on short notice. Call one of our service professionals today!
  • State & Local Sales Tax
    In accordance with applicable state and local laws, we are required to charge sales tax in localities where Martin's Equipment, Inc. does business. Martin's Equipment, Inc. does not benefit from the collection of sales tax and we remit all taxes collected directly to the appropriate taxing jurisdiction. As a general rule, it is the laws of the state of delivery that determine whether sales tax will be due on your transaction. Taxes that appear in your order are estimated. Because equipment and item orders may be fulfilled from multiple locations across the U.S., the actual taxes charged to your credit card will be calculated based on the applicable state and local sales taxes when your order is shipped.
  • Return Policy
    1. All Returns are subject to Martin's Equipment approval. 2. Returns will not be accepted, and Credit will not be issued without approval of a Martin's Equipment team member. 3. All return requests must be made within 10 days of delivery/pick up. Note: Any items returned to Martin's Equipment, Inc. without authorization will not be issued credit and will be shipped back to you. Costs for shipping the returned item(s) back to you will be charged back to you at our discretion. 4. Martin's Equipment, Inc will discuss the circumstances of your return request with you. Upon review, Martin's Equipment will determine if the item(s) are eligible for return. 5. Authorized returns must be received in unused condition/same condition (suitable for resale) and item(s) must be in original conditioning and packaging as when delivered/received. 6. Martin's Equipment, Inc. will inspect item(s) to determine if unused, new, and in suitable/same condition as when delivered/picked up. Refunds will be credited to you in a pre-negotiated payment method, after we receive the returned item(s). 7. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs. 8. Special order, cut-to-order, and customized items are not eligible for return. 9. Items sold "as-is" cannot be returned. There are no exceptions. 10. All returns due to purchase error on the part of the customer will be additionally charged a minimum 30% Restocking Fee, to be deducted from the refund amount. 12. All restocking fees and return shipping charges are to be assessed and deducted from the refund amount before a credit is issued. Note: Once an order has shipped and payment has been processed, we do not refund taxes, even if a credit for the purchase is issued. Sales Tax is not included in any refunded amounts.
  • Acceptable payment methods?
    All equipment and products are displayed in dollars ($), United States currency. We currently do not accept payment by credit cards based outside of the US or on other currencies. For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Please note a processing fee of 3% may be added to the total of purchase price, if chosen payment method is credit/debit card. Martin's Equipment, Inc. accepts check payments for orders with a purchase total over $500.00 (before shipping costs are added). You must contact a Martin's Equipment team member at 704-871-8211 to notify us that you would like to place your order and pay by check. A team member will assist you in identifying the item(s) you wish to order and will provide via phone your total costs including purchase, shipping charges and applicable sales tax. Orders paid for by check must include cost of item(s), plus shipping costs for all items, and any applicable sales tax. Please contact Martin's Equipment, Inc. to determine the total cost of your order so that you can make your check out for the correct amount. NOTE: DO NOT SEND ANY CHECK PAYMENT TO MARTIN'S EQUIPMENT, INC. WITHOUT CONTACTING US FIRST! Checks that we receive for orders that we are not aware of will be returned and unprocessed! If you wish to have your order processed at a faster rate, you may send a Certified Check. When we receive your Certified Check, we can process your order right away. For even faster processing, you can "overnight" your check or Certified Check to us.
